The Award winning documentary Video "Holy Chrism"
The Holy Oil was
brought to Armenia by the
Apostles St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew (cf. Mark. 6:13).
St. Gregory The Illuminator, the Patron Saint of
the Armenian Church sanctified as MURON (Chrism) in 301 AD
Since then the
tradition is uninterrupted by consecrating it every
7 years, where the old MURON is mixed in with the
new one.
